Consisting of 79 young persons, 79 different musical personalities coming from different schools, different professions, different nationalities; we – the Vietnam Youth Orchestra (VYO) are ready to create new cultural, musical spaces for the community. At the VYO orchestra concerts led by conductor Phan Đỗ Phúc, we will bring masterpieces of classical music, which have long been regarded as invaluable international cultural assets, closer to Vietnamese audiences.

With much anticipation and excitement, the VYO is thrilled to announce our debut with the VYO Grand Concert and Community Concert Series, with specific schedules as follow:

• 08.09.2022 | VYO Grand Concert at Hanoi Opera House

• 18.09.2022 | VYO Community Concert at the Green Space, 65 Cam Hoi, Dong Mac, Hai Ba Trung, Ha Noi

• 24.09.2022 | VYO Community Concert at the Cultural Center – Bac Tu Liem district, Ha Noi

• 02.10.2022 | VYO Community Concert at Walking Street, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ha Noi

VYO’s debut at the Hanoi Opera House celebrates the maturity of our young persons on their journey to discover their life-long relationship with classical music. From here, all the interesting individual colors and personalities at VYO will be widely showcased to the community at large, via a series of free concerts in Hanoi. At these creative spaces that we create; every young person of VYO, together with the audiences, will have the chances to share beautiful, special moments with classical music together. Ultimately, we hope that our musical journeys such as this one will be a connecting brick, bringing classical music closer to the public’s hearts, regardless of our individual differences.
