VYMI EduConcert is officially scheduled on July 2, 2022 at the Hanoi Opera House. VYMI would like to announce: Launching the Piano Audition 2022 for VYMI EduConcert "Classical Wonderland"
VYMI Piano Audition 2022 is the first Piano Audition in Vietnam for all young people who are professional and amateur pianists. This is an extremely rare opportunity to win a ticket to shine on the magnificent stage of the Hanoi Opera House and play with the wonderful musicians of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO).
VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition opens to candidates of all nationalities, under the age of 26 and currently residing in Vietnam. The entire VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition program is held completely free of charge. All candidates who pass the "Video audition" will be able to participate in the Workshop. This will be a time to inspire and help candidates interact and learn from talented and experienced musicians.

There are two rounds of VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition 2022
ROUND 1: VIDEO AUDITION
- Recorded videos will be accepted between 05/05/2022 and 05/06/2022
- There are 3 videos
+ Video 1: Self-introduction and reasons why you would like to join the VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition 2022
+ Video 2: A free-style piece (maximum 5 minutes)

- Candidates will upload their videos to Google Drive and attach the link to the VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition 2022 Form
- Note:
+ Please set your camera appropriately so that we can see your faces and your hands.
+ Every video should be recorded in one take
+ Language: English or Vietnamese.
- The results of round 1 will be announced via email on June 15, 2022.
WORKSHOP
- Candidates selected for the Live Audition round will be able to participate in a Workshop course guided by pianists.
ROUND 2: LIVE AUDITION
- Live audition will be held on June 25th, 2022 at 65 Cam Hoi, Dong Mac, Hai Ba Trung, Ha Noi.
PERFORMANCE AT VYMI EDUCONCERT "CLASSICAL WONDERLAND"
- The suitable candidates selected from the Live Audition will be able to perform at EduConcert: "Classical Wonderland" with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, conductor Honna Tetsuji and pianist Nguyen Thai Ha.
- VYMI EduConcert "Classical Wonderland" will be held on July 2, 2022 at Hanoi Opera House, 01 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
VYMI EduConcert Piano Audition is organized by Vietnam Youth Music Institute (VYMI) in a strategic partnership with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and supported by VPS Securities JSC and Sojitz Vietnam.
